Remote forested area beyond average range of humans lugging bait.
i had a 76 half ton G.M.C. we'd put one ton springs on.
Bias ply heavy lugged tires and a logging trail.
Departed in about a foot of snow after tent camping a while.
No sign of anyone else till a main road was hit. Well ; don't recall seeing anyone there either.
Been a minute.
I missed something... No forested area.... no GMC.... :icon_scratch: :dontknow:

Plankton.

Night fishing for trout in a particular lake we used lights.
Eventually so much life could be seen in the water visibility was reduced.
Not real uncommon on calm nights for plankton to rise from deeper water or bottom then.

Bluegill (A panfish type) once in a while through the ice are caught with green algae looking gill rakers. Likely sifting through plankton.

Anyways. maybe your night boat water pics show plankton.

Mouth of the Chetco river... Possible!
Or......

They light up when disturbed. I was thinking the boat passing through it caused that.

Possible. The current in that part of the river is strong though.
