Had some good fun ripping around in the Mojave Desert yesterday. Productive too, I found a ghost town site that has remains of 15-20 stone buildings.
Heading back there today with my detector.
Thanks, It's a 2018. The trick is to only let the tires touch the ground. :laughing7:
Oh shit, this thing is street legal? Did you upgrade a few items like the carbon fiber exhaust protector, and seat or all stock? Probably a 6 speed too?
You know i really miss the dirt. If were a rider somewhere before the late 90s you had so many options. All the farm land we lived or worked on, undeveloped upcoming neighborhoods, thousand of open forest, sand pits and of course MX tracks. I don't know how a shop can stay in business these days, if you're lucky to even see one. Now it's too many careless idiots have ruined it. Not much to chose from now without some chaos. You might find an off road mountain trail here or there with an enduro maybe. I guess some neighboring mountain regions offer a trail or two, but most of them are covered in drunken kids.

The day before yesterday the Mrs and me managed to tow, push the side by side into the garage.
I needed to find out why it wouldn't start.
It started right up- :dontknow:
Easy fix-still not sure what happened.

Interesting signals yesterday while out detecting. I decided to detect the ice around an old warf/pier from the 1850s.
Got a high 80s, some high 60s where the rocks were for the system.
(No recoveries though)

So January 12. 2025 was the 🌶 first water hunt of the year. 🤣
I guess I could go ice fishing.

Yep, factory street legal. The only mods are a fuel injection adjustable mapping unit, a bash plate and a seat that doesn't give me grief. I don't ride it on the street except when necessary though. A lot of places out west are off limits to off road vehicles, Death Valley for example, so a plate is a must.
My best friend moved to Nevada from SC when he saw all the riding opportunity out here.
