Friday the 13th....3 fresh dropped buffalo 🐃 nickels !! ??

how these old coins were lost in the swimming hole no one will ever know ?? But they weren't in the sea very long...there in great shape. 2X 1935, and one 1926 !! Weird stuff happens for me on Friday 13th !!

Here we wear thongs on our feet. And for some reason we like decorating trees with them. There are dozens of Thong Trees around Australia. We have one about 30ks away from here in Kingower.

Everyone in Florida wears thongs. Most call them flip flops or slats. I've never seen them nailed to trees!

I don't know how it started, or why. One place was some beach area and a local would pick up the ones people left and nail them to a tree there. But it started before that I think. Kind of a I was here type of thing I guess. Iv never done it though. I remember a friend taking me to see the one at Kingower maybe 20yrs ago. I was "ok, a thong tree in the bush, that's weird " looked at it for about 20 seconds then we went detecting.
