YO Eagle 3 feet of over burden with the crew that came up and met with you a few months back could be done in a short time, but i'm sure winching will be needed?

I think I want to come up this weekend and check out the mine rik went in and maybe look around for whatever and dig some bedrock, whats say oakview whats say eagle, I will even bring KFC for the crew

A message to ALL of my readers: I will be at the McCabe Flats camp ground, the one above the road, after you pass the main camp ground. I'll try to be there by 9am, Saturday. (08/03/13). It's about 53 miles from home to there, so if I'm a few minutes late, please be patient. This will be more of a "get aquainted" meeting than anything else. For the ones who might be interested, I might be talked into giving a little tour of the points of interest. (lol)

i'd love to go and soar with you brother eagle but unfortunately i wont be able to make it. i do however want to wish you and all who do go a good and safe trip with high hopes of finding some good sized nuggets!(or any at all) fingers are already crossed for you guys and i hope when you all get back to see some pictures of those nuggets!(or at least some pics of the area so i can wish i was out there with you guys even more lol) im already picturing that KFC and hopefully ill materialize that mental image for dinner tonight! stay safe you guys.

We'll just have to wait and see. Other than you, Chupacabra and CharlesP, (who may or may not be there), so far, no one has responded.

The "Aspen Fire" has spread smoke all the way up to Sac. Not so great, but at least, the fire isn't threatening me here.

Incidently, I've been hitting yard sales, looking for a set of small (portable) acetyline/oxygen tanks so that I can get back to making jewelry again. If you (or anyone else) runs across any at a reasonable price, please let me know. I have guages and jewelers tips.

Have fun in Mendocino I'm north of it. Have only been to the coast there once and didn't know of anything fun to do and missed on all the stuff like glass beach
