Here are my finds for the past two days at the spot. yesterday was wheatie day with 9 found and some artillery, today I got the 1908 Indian and 1917 Merc and two Wheaties
I finally broke the 100 year mark!!! 1906 - This is also the first Indian Head cent that I found. I found this today at the spot with Goio, it was down about 8 inches !!!!!! I am so happy, my hands are still shaking!!!!
She isn't the prettiest, but I love her... You can see part of the "Liberty" on her head dress. I am still cleaning her, but I had to stop to take pic's for you all. I will post more once I get her all cleaned up.
Thanks for looking.
I heard this "spot" was a fairly small area (don't worry that's all I heard)... that's amazing there is SO MUCH in this spot! I'd like to see what the ground looks like after all of these holes are dug. Congrats on the finds Goio. I thought that 1921 wheatie was the plain 1922 at first, so close!
Congrats on passing the 100 year barrier TreasureFiend!
And the fiend has the fever now! Geez, thought you couldn't get deep because of the broken coil! Congrats and keep digging deeper!
Those .30 cal blanks were probably part of an old Memorial Day or Veteran's Day salute. I've found them at sites where such events took place around here also. That's a sweet spot you've got!
hey, I just finished talking to Bruce and it looks like beach hunting this Saturday! I also stop by Sherman Park for lunch and picked two 1917 and one 1910 wheaties
