Wait! Did I miss something? Hasn't this been "solved" several times? Probably the treasure was cashed in and is now a high rise building in N.Y.C.
 

You are referring to the dig on Taylor's Mountain. All a hoax. No treasure was found and nothing has been sold in New York or Chicago as they claimed in 1973.
