They are reportedly filming this summer/fall for airing late this year. Crook has stated it will be the final season.
 

It's such a great show. Really looking forward to the third season.
 

I too can not wait for season 3. Hopefully, Mr. Crook will change his mind once season 3 is a super smash hit!

They probably haven't scheduled it yet. My guess is that it will air about when the previous seasons aired, monthwise.

Pulling this thread back up because I'm jonesing for this show to come back! I was able to watch Season 2 on Dailymotion thanks to a tip,from someone. So anyone know where I can watch this?
 

Season 3 is filming now. My GUESS is that it will air on the BBC in the fall since that's they timeline the first seasons followed. I'll be looking at the website, DM, and the torrents after it airs.

Awesome! My wife loves this show so it earns me extra detecting points.
 

I too will be on the lookout. I just gave up Netflix a few weeks ago so I will be trying to view on another site when available. I love Daily Motion...they have all the Ancient Astronauts episodes..or at least, a lot of them, which I really enjoy. I hope Mr. Crook decides to do yet another season after this one. It is just so very well done.
 

Acorn TV has both seasons and the very good Christmas special. Less than five dollars a month, with free preview.

It really ought to be mandatory to see at least one episode before you are allowed to post in one of the metal detecting forums. There so soooo many subtleties in each episode you have to watch again to catch them.

Exactly. Just one example: Ring Pulls Through The Years. Lance's display just cracked me up. How many MD folks could have made a collection like that? My guess is...most of us, ha ha.
