Oh the joy of having live-in g'kids!I haven't had a cold in years,now the g'daughter has one and yep,she gave it to me!If I make it to CTH,I'll need some real TLC. :'( I think my resistance to such things has been well depleted from all the worry I've had about who may or may not come to the hunt,and I hope she lets her conscience be her guide.

Hi Ron, Judi, Evy, Donna, dang, all of you. Wish we could be there. Too many other obligations. Still too young to retire (shush, WSD), but so ready. Two more years, though, here I come!

One more short thing. We have a son & family in Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA. Our navy guy. Earthquake last week, and hurricane Irene this week. Stupid kid has no idea what he's facing. Sent him some tips for hurricane survival (I live in Louisiana and have experienced hurricanes) and he tells me he's been thru 40 mph winds and he's ok. He sticking the fluffy seats of his patio furniture underneath the chairs, still sitting outside on the patio. And he has plenty of refreshments. Should make some of you feel better about your tries with your young'ens. Signing off...

I wonder how ME and BB will do in daylight hunting?They are really nocturnal creatures,you know,something like armadillos,going around digging little round holes in your yard at night.But maybe a pair of really dark sunglasses will work for them.
