It looks to me like the annual CTH hunt has grown into one of the most well attended Tnet member hunts on the forum. Congratulations to all who are able to attend as it is one aspect of treasure hunting so often overlooked and under appreciated. Burdie Vickie and those who have helped have done a wonderful job putting these things together over the last few years and they all represent the fine interesting people one can meet here on Tnet. From the prize list so far it seems that the manufacturers are finally beginning to catch on and realize how much the local folks can contribute to their success. You guys have a great time this year and I await anxiously for your after hunt posts and pictures. That way I can go along with you even though I can't attend this year. Love you all and especially miss all the hugs from the ladies. Monty

Looks like the temps are starting to come down a little, but still in the mid 90's.....could be worse.

My temp gauge said 85 today and it was great. We will have 4 or 5 days of 100 again. I could see a dip after that maybe mid 80's and low humidity. We missed two rains this week less than a mile.

I was planning on working on the pool today but there is thunder and lightning and rain so maybe later
85 degrees and lower humidity would be great! Can you put that order in?

Goodmornin'!It's great outside today.This morning in the 60's.Dixie and me enjoyed sitting on the deck,looking out over the hills you could see a little fog hangin' low in the valleys.A car went by up on the road and Dixie barked and for the first time ever,there was a echo from down in the woods.Dixie went wild,she thought there was a dog down there somewhere.She kept barking just like a kid would do and listening to that echo.

My little dog Digsy formerly known as Dixie didn't bark for the first two years I had her. I thought she was the offspring of one of those African breeds that are barkless because she had all the proper markings. But alas, she discovered she could bark and now won't shut up! Her bark is more of a shriek than a true bark and several people have commented that they never heard a dog bark like that. She weighs 15 lbs and looks much like a miniature whippet but her bark is so loud it hurts your ears. I put up Beware of Dog signs on my fence to keep the meter reader from climbing over it and after he heard her bark and saw the signs he won't come near my back yard. Digsy loves everyone and would lick him to death! Oh, and Digsy says hi to Dixie! Monty
