Does anyone know if I have can these professionally cleaned with NCS without a value loss?????

OMG I'm still freaking out!!!!!!!

WOW WOW and WWOOWW! What a day you had LillyofA! Congratulations on one heck of a coin spill! If I ever find any spill like that it would be 2 spills, one in the ground, I'll leave the other to imaginations! Are you on the South West coast or North? Just curious, as I'm on the NW. Happy hunting INDEED!!!

Awesome find!!! Congrats.

Excellent spill recovery!.

I'm yelling BANNER too!

Wow did the bucket come with all those Sweet Thanks for sharing it

Nice finds. As far as professional cleaning and grading personally I would not do it. First of the all there is significant cost involved and your coins will come back with either a "cleaned" or "environmentally damaged" label in addition to the grade. This will not help and likely hurt the value to a collector ; especially if the coins are not very rare. If you want to sell them leave them as they are and if you are going to keep them why bother spending money on something that cost you nothing and you can enjoy for a long time.

Holy crap what a spill

Lemon juice will make those purdy. Let the acid to the work, let the q-tip remove what's loosened by the acid. Dab with a paper towel and don't rub!

I've used this method on many rare coins.

And if they get discolored or that cleaned look. Get some happy Jack's mange medicine rub just a dab on the coin get a blow dryer put in on low warm and blow your coin ( don't even touch that one funny people) coin about 2 or seconds. The most beautiful natural looking patina will appear.

I can see you're stoked, and rightfully so, that is one amazing coin spill, one for the record books in my eyes. Just finding any one of the coins in a hunt would get me stoked, let alone all from the same hole. Enjoy the feeling, it's what keeps me detecting. The elation of digging a cool find, gold ring or and old coin. It sure is addicting.

AS GOMER WOULD SAY SHAAZAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMM . NICE COINAGE ..

Man My heart would stop if I had a hit like that. That makes my coin spill on the beach last Wednesday a big let down (Quarter, dime, and dollar coin in one scoop).
What a great find you made there. I bow to your Superior power :notworthy:

WOW! That is just awesome! That must have been a bummer to loose that amount of money in the late 1800's. Excellent finds, Seated half is on a lot of people's bucket list (including mine) to find, and you got two + quarter + a decent shield to boot! Hat's off to you. Congrats and HH
