I've been "pull tab mining" ahead of this construction site in the park on what USED to be Walterboro Army Airfield 1941-1946, removing as much garbage as I can so maybe I can find some goodies as the construction progresses...after 10,000 more pull tabs, I got this nice soft 85...84 on my machine is silver dime, 85 is junk brass or bottle cap and 86 is clad quarter. But it had that soft "silver tone", I expected maybe a mid sized ring, but WOW was I surprised to see the bars.

I've found dozens of Lt. bars, various other cool uniform bits...but this is the highest rank yet, captains bars! And in sterling silver NICE ;D ;D ;D ;D

There is a short vid of it, just SO few worth while hits:

Maybe next I'll pull some solid gold oak leaves? There's always hope....

Silver in any shape or form is always good! Nice find!

Congrats on the silver bars. Loved your video! hmm, maybe you'll decide to build something with those never-ending pulltabs, like a castle, ornate fence, car, or rocket to the moon! If ya google "pull tab art" you'll find lots of examples. lol & HH Andi
