Hello Everyone,
Went back to my family farm house that I hunted last year. I wanted to hunt so spots that I did not hunt because the owner said there was too much brass shell casings everywhere. My previous hunts had concentrated on the front yard. My Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and my Father and a whole bunch of uncles grew up in this house. My Great Grandfather lived and farmed it in the teens up until the early 40's. The home was built in 1902. The guy who lives there was a Marine also so I walked right in
The house has produced a bunch of Wheat's and some mercs (5) last year. My Great Grandfather like his whiskey and probaby lost a whole bunch of coins. He lived to be 91 and died in 1977.
After 8 long hours here is the breakdown:
1 1945 War Nickle
4 Mercs; 1917 (almost a 1916
0, 2-1942's, 1944 and a 1945
2 Rosie's: a 1963 and a 1964
2 Buffalo's: 1 no dater and 1 that has the date blocked by some kind of weird stripe
1 gold plated thingy
11 Wheat's: 3- 1916's, 1- 1912, 1-1917, 1-1917D, 1-1936, 1-1945, 1-1942, 1-1954D, 1-1956D
