Thanks Ahab, I go alittle overboard with my hobbies as well.........make that allot overboard.Dave that's really interesting. There's a guy here in Maine who dives lakes and finds some incredible stuff. He finds out the locations where they used to put the trash out on the ice and wait for it to thaw. That was a common means of getting rid of trash way back when. We have tons of ship wrecks off the rocky coast of Maine here. If I started diving I'd have to quit working! I go a little overboard with my hobbies some times. Very very interesting, glad you shared that with us
Hey Thanks Fongu. Diving can be a little expensive when you first start out that's for sure. Many dive shops don't disclose all the expenses when you first sign up for lessons. I know 35 years ago when I started diving I went through the same deal.Excellent finds. I've had to cancel my dive class due to unexpected expenses. I only plan to detect the river initially, but would love to go on a dive like the one where you found those bottles and gold coins. When you are down around 60-80 feet and the water is 40-50 degrees, do you wear a wetsuit or drysuit? 3mm, 5mm or 7 mm?
Thanks MsBeep, but I DO speak dolphin.Awesome finds! It's been said most of the gold ls under the sea. Too bad we don't speak Dolphin pretty sure they know where a lot of the bottle dumps and etc. are! HH! To you stay safe...and warm!
