We have lots more option than normal for this time of year but none of them are any good.
On the way to try a couple of new fields, we saw some fail crop & stopped the car.
We spent 2 hours on an area near one of our Roman Sites & ended up with 7 scrappies. This actually takes us to our best May on record even before the middle of the month! As I say ploughed land is normally about 0 right now.
Plus a top of a 17th C spoon.
We then went on to the new land for 1 hour 45 minutes with wind, rain & hail - I left my waterproof in the car!:tongue3:

Not much to report there other than my first late 18th C Silver Clog Clasp. So not a bust!

That would have been my first guess, did it have a 'Knopf' or head on the flat part ?

I really want to respond to one of the replies posted, maybe I'll get a chance
on my own thread :laughing7:

We call them seal-top although this one has a plain top.
