Earliar today I got out and hit up a camp that I have been working for a couple years just to get out of the house. I did ok with some bullets and a coin. So I came home and posted the finds. As soon as I was finished posting the stuff a friend (a Realtor)called me up to see if I wanted to dig a bank repo house yard that was located across the road from a place I dig for relics already. Well about 30 minutes into the hunt I pop up this ring. I don't beach hunt and I don't know anything about jewelery so if anyone could help out I would appreciate it. It says 10 K inside. Mike
It weighs about 8 - 9 grams I think that is if these scales are still accurate.

i hope Tab loves it! :laughing7: :laughing7:
Hey, don't add fuel to the fire! lol

NEVER...NEVER, ever let diamond rings out of your sight. It is too easy for them to switch from diamond to CZ.

Fore warned!

Very true, like I was telling you the other night Mike..I would take it to a local appraiser.. I never would ship... it could get lost

mikey you better take rob's advice on this... he had bad luck with something that was sent to
him... like last year.

That is one BEAUTIFUL ring you found!!! I agree with the others - I wouldn't send it anywhere. Find a jewelery store that does appraisals right there on the premises. Shouldn't be that hard to find one. Also, have them look in the big diamond with the loupe and mark the inclusions on paper for you and show you through the loupe how to see the inclusions. When you get it back you should be able to look into the diamond again with the loupe and see the same inclusions as proof that nobody switched it for a CZ or lower quality diamond. The inclusions are the diamond's "fingerprint".
