Earliar today I got out and hit up a camp that I have been working for a couple years just to get out of the house. I did ok with some bullets and a coin. So I came home and posted the finds. As soon as I was finished posting the stuff a friend (a Realtor)called me up to see if I wanted to dig a bank repo house yard that was located across the road from a place I dig for relics already. Well about 30 minutes into the hunt I pop up this ring. I don't beach hunt and I don't know anything about jewelery so if anyone could help out I would appreciate it. It says 10 K inside. Mike
It weighs about 8 - 9 grams I think that is if these scales are still accurate.

That sure looks nice, & I can tell you that 10k rings do have real stones in them. The best ring I have found was 10k & it had a .46 ct very high quality diamond in it. The stone alone was worth over $800

The last diamond and gold ring I found was 10K with 8 diamonds. I had it polished & appraised; $995.00. Let us know what the jeweler said. Breezie

Very nice looking ring. Yes take it to a dealer and see what he tells you. Then lets us know what he says....Matt

mikey!!! WOWOW! ....um... and does Tab know you found this!?
very cool!!! kiddo

Could be real but I would count on them being CZ in 10K. :icon_scratch: Most real stones are set in 14k or higher, again I say most. :read2: The size of those rocks are huge and would be very valueable. :o So chances are slim, if you can see the mounting looking through the stones then they are most likely fakes. :read2:

Keep @ It and HH !! :D ;D

Yeah, and she calls it "hers"....

SWEET

Good job! Take it to a jeweler and have the diamonds tested. If you send it to me, I can test for you because I beach hunt, love diamond rings and have a diamond tester!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

Headed to the jeweler now! Wish me luck...... :tongue3:

Well I went to the jeweler and the diamonds are in fact real. They said that they will have to send it off for an appraisal but the gold it self is not worth all that much. When I pulled it out he said "Wow"! Then I told him how I ended up with this ring. He then said that I had made a couple thousand dollar find for sure. That's all he said as far as price. When the owner gets back on Tuesday they said they can send it out for an accurate price. Can't wait!

Banner find Mike.. Might get a better pic, but for sure a beauty :icon_thumleft:
