Strange Rock found in creek

Found this strange looking rock while buck hunting this year. Looks man made but makes no sense as to why it was where it was. Found in rural pa. in what we call a creek but is probably no more than a drainage ditch from the road above camp.it is 11" long, 5" wide, 3/4"thick. About 4 lbs. o

Hello Jeff, it does look like a shoe print, can you explain further?

I think the shoe Print design is probably just imperfections.


But again Just My guess by it's shape.
I don't think it is Natural & doubt also it's Naive amaerican.
looks more machine cut to me.

stepping stones are cut in all shapes & used for everything from Garden Decorations to fancy Sidewalks

I agree about it being being man made, the edges are mostly smooth, like they could have been cut with a wet saw. And most of the edge is beveled outward except for one side. Almost looks like a blank for a base for something to sit on or maybe a craft to paint on and stand on one flat side on shelf. Also the bottom is completely smooth but has several bumps that a wet saw would not have left behind. The top where you see the crease line in pic is actually a change from one thickness to another. The smaller side ( or heal of shoe ) is 1/4" thinner than larger side. Smaller side much smoother than larger side as if someone started shaving rock smooth but quit.

Here is bottom. Completely smooth and flat except for raised bumps.
