I dug a lock cover and a unknown thing that somebody might know what it is. It was near a old cellar hole where I found 1823 Nova Scotia tokens and flat buttons in the past but not sure if this is from the same era. Both items are fairly big. Any help would be appreciated! [emoji2]

The other item is a key escutcheon plate. It goes on a door, over the keyhole, so the wood doesn't get scratched up while inserting the key.
