Spanish treasure...here are some pix

Hey Thom, what's up? Seen any lost Spanish galleons in the desert lately? I hear it's still out there somewhere buried in a massive sand dune, due to an ancient typhoon that flooded the entire western U.S. a few hundred years ago. They loaded it with a stolen Aztec treasure out of northern Arizona and then the waters receded before they could sail. What do you think of the headstone in this thread? Looks ancient Jesuit......

I did hear of the pearl ship that was suposedly lost because of receding water.
But the Aztec one is new to me as well.

As far as the marker on the front of this thread I think it more a map of the tunnel system referred to in the first part of the marker.
It has been, or is in the process of recovery. By the original poster.

Hi Salvor6. The original poster did show some pics of old pottery and artifacts that he found. Then several months later came back with this as his final comment:

So, I guess we can take what we want from that meaning.

On a side note, then Old Dog said congrats and "lock the post" or it will go on forever. Seems he was right.
