SOS-anyone have the Recipe

Hamburger gravy is NOT SoS. Sos is chipped beef gravy.

SoS--dice up chipped beef and toss in a skillet with a little oil. Fry until it begins to brown.
Add flour and stir(enough flour to absorb the oil). Let that brown slightly. Pour in milk and bring to a boil stirring constantly until the thickness you desire. Add pepper and salt to taste.(careful, chipped beef is salty). Thats it. Simple SOS gravy.

Hamburger gravy. Drop the hamburger in the skilllet. Fry until done. If there is a lot of grease remove most of it. Liberally sprinkle the hamburger with flour. Cook this, stirring constantly until the flour is well encorporated into the hamburger. Pour in milk and bring to a boil. Salt and pepper to taste. Boil until it's the thickness you desire.
