See now here is the problem with the way all of you think. You only think how will this help me. ME ME ME. Stop and think a little, If it is not right for you then it is not right for you, but that does not mean the option might not be right for someone else.

No, this shows a problem in the way YOU think. If something is detrimental to you personally,( either monetarily or physically) then why would you do it? Eventually your bad choices will make your viability suffer. And that will definitely limit your ability to take care of yourself, you can follow the logic from there!
If someone has the money and likes the hobby, by all means get after it. But some misplaced do good sentiment does not make the future of mankind brighter just because you disagree with logic.

When this technology is viable I plan on getting on board. But not because some slick talking scam artist told me it was a great product before it was ready.
By the way, how many hunters have game cameras with solar cell chargers? I have one, and have had 3 solar chargers for it.

Keep your finger on it werl! Let me know when it really is ready for prime time! And let us know when you have decided to buy this for yourself as that may also be an indicator.

Wow now you try to turn this on me? Trying to attack me? Smooth. Why do you always do that kind of thing instead of talking about the actual topic? Why get so defensive when someone that has a different view of the world brings to light things you may be missing. Why put such a nasty tone to your typeing when you think your point is all correct, when in reality a combanation of both of our things are probably what is correct. We were talking about the efficiancy and then you go and say how this is not for YOU. ok we get it you don't want this, but that is nothing to stop someone else from investing in this. Also why are these so expensive? Hmm lets take econ 101. Low supply = Higher prices. What would happen if these were to be massed produced like a vehicle... Prices would go down and this technology would become more feasible. Do you know what the automobile cost before being mass produced in 1909? Well for those who don't know here you go. Before the Model T was built cars cost 2,000–$3,000 (equivalent to $47,914 –$71,872today) while the Model T cost $850 (equivalent to $4791 today). Looking at this... What new car can you buy for $5000 in todays market?? Not a single one.. Do you see what I am getting at? This technology is not 100% the way to go yet. KEY WORD is YET.

Now your question on am I going to invest into this. In part yes, once I get out of apartment living. Altough I was going to go a different direction. Since you seem to need to know alot let me spell it out for you. I am going to get solar, I am going to get wind, but they will not power my home or heat my home. They will charge the batteries for my HHO generator, and I will use the Hydrogen created and store that to run my generator.

When one learns to think outside of the box and not follow the mass down the road, he will see what is truly available from the world.

I am not attacking you Werl, even though you basically said my thought process was callous and immoral.
It is funny that you think I am. I just don't see the viability yet. I as I have said, keep me informed, I am on your side when it becomes ready. Stay outside the box all you want, but remember that there are constraints to overcome.

Watch out for hydrogen buddy! The storage is tricky, but when you let the pressure off be Very careful. ( it is just what a physicist told me, I do not have first hand experience, except watching the Hindenburg tapes)

Good luck!

Sorry If I came off angry sounding this morning, not my intention. Hydrogen does get a bad rap. The main thing with my storage is to not to compress it while I store it, granted this will take up more space for storage, but that will help eliminate that hazard. The thing I am trying to get in my design of this is a way to collect all the water vapor from the burning process and try not to let much excape into the atmosphere. I can then reuse this water and keep the greenhouse gas generation down. H2O is a greenhouse gas, but no one talks about it :) It holds more heat than CO2.

If H2O is a greenhouse gass we are in big trouble! Most of the earth's surface is covered with water and get this, most of the water is in the air in the form of vapor. Frank

Did you notice how I let that slide? It is irresponsible that some agencies have unfettered power to dictate what constitutes a danger and how they will regulate it!
I let it go because I thought Werl just wanted some distilled water for something?
But did you know that super clean water is very corrosive? It HAS to bind with something!

And super clean water is unhealthy to drink. It will dehydrate you more than hydrate you because the distilled water will pull the ions out of your cells instead of deliver them to your cells.

Werl is doing homework!!! :whip2:
So, are we gonna see your name in print someday?
MAD SCIENTIST GIVES AWAY PATENTS TO FREE ENERGY AND A DRINKING GLASS!
Good luck Werl!

I heat my pool with solar pannels and the temp stays at 70 degrees in winter. I just got a little garden hose, 2 reducers, and 4 hose clamps to connect everuthing to a 1 HP electric utility pump and it all wotks great. In all, it all cost me less than $100 and I got the pannels free from my wifes dad.

Great Idea,, I am going to do that when i get a pool! you are the man!

When the kids were growing up, they wanted a pool on the farm so I dug a 20' dia 5' deep bowl shaped pool for them and used the spring water , it flowed right to it. I dug a 8' dia 1' deep preheat pond and covered it with 6mil black poly. The spring water was a constant 58 degrees and on a sunlit day the output water was around 68degrees. They used it for about 8 years.
It was a very inexpensive setup, but on a farm you can get away with that. Frank
