A lot of fellow members have requested to see a picture of all the silver rings I have found in soccer / sports fields over the last couple of months. All of the rings are .925 except the chain which is 14K gold, the bottom ring on the right is 14K gold with jelly opals, and the ring right above it is 10K gold. So here you go, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did finding them.

Good Grief! You found all those rings at one soccer field? WOW! Impressive. You are da man! :o
I wish they were all from one field. Actually they are from 5 or 6 fields, maybe 7, I don't remenber. The most I found in one field was 10.

Now that's a load of rings! Soccer fields are great aren't they? Looks like you know your machine well.

Great Finds, are the signals you are receiving similar to a pulltab/Bottlecap which you would dig?

I dig those signal because that's where the gold I can't seem to find falls in. The silver rings fall mainly in the quarter+ range. Some thin ones fall in the dime/penny range. A heavy silver ring can show in the half dollar range, but 90% show in the quarter range.

WoW PM!! :o Beautiful finds!!!!

Nana ;)

Hey PM, thanks for the recap. That is one fantastic batch you got there. Congrats again on your great finds.

That's a very impressive collection you have there. I used to find them like that but this year hasn't been that good to me by a long shot. Also, mine usually get scarfed up by my family to wear, lol.

Hey you are right the 20 inch chain I found does match the one you found only the jewler took one look at mine and told me it was fake.

Great rings.

Just took mine to two different jewelers and they both said it was definately 14K gold. So now I'm having a clasp put on the end to make it complete. Thanks for having me double check that, you had me worried there for a minute.

I am very happy for you. I had a great day today found 52 coins, finally beat the 50 mark!! I plan on posting later when I get everything shot and in the computer.

Dave, excellent finds but there's life after soccer fields.

You're right, baseball fields. :D :D Where I'm at, all the old places have been covered over by modern civilization. I have seen where I live go from ranch land that you couldn't even give away, to land that you pay for by the foot, by the inch if it's hwy frontage. All the old parks are illegal to hunt in because they are in Austin city limits. I hunt in the fields that I do because it seems no one else has ever touched them. The oldest sports fields around here are from the 70's at the latest. To get to the old places you have to drive a fairly good distance, and with a gas hog like my 85 suburban and gas so high, not to mention the little time you have early in the mornings before it heats up, I pretty much confine my hunting to these fields because they are close by. Once it cools down, and you can spend the day hunting, I will go to the older areas that are left. Believe me, there are days that I get really frustrated because nothing old is left close by, and I do get tired of just finding the modern clad. There was a time when I didn't touch anything modern at all, and it's the memory of those days that haunt me.
