I was at my local bank today on some business and decided to see if I could buy a box of pennies. As I looked across the counter I noticed a stack of Ike dollars next to the cashier tray. Obviously all clad from the rims, and casually asked the teller if he gets many of those in. He said not usually, but yesterday some old guy brought in hundreds of 'em, said he was tired of holding on to them.

Buy them all or pass?

If I do take them to a bank to dump I'll just wrap them in home made wrappers. I'll give my LCS a call to see if they will buy them off of me.

You might ask for wrappers, surprisingly a lot of them have the large dollar wrappers still. One bank really wanted to get rid of them and gave me almost 100 of them...

Good idea. I do recall seeing large dollar wrappers at one random bank I visited a while ago.
