Went out early to beat the heat and humidity, to an old high school turned into an elementary school in the 70's. Someone taking home ec back in the day, must must have lost mama's or granny's silver thimble. It's my first sterling thimble so it was a good day.
No other good finds, but a little battery money always helps. Thanks for looking.

Thanks all for you comments and post! Wow, I had no idea a Sterling Silver thimble is on so many of your alls bucket list! And to think I almost passed it up because it rang up in the copper penny range.
 

Congrats on a beautiful silver thimble! And an OLD one too! It's great that it is fully intact not crushed like 90% of the thimbles that get dug. I was super lucky in that the only silver thimble I've ever dug was intact too, and probably 150 years old. It is still on my best digs of all time.
