Conditions in the Greater Boston area have not been ideal for detecting. Between the snow and freezing temperatures, its been tough to find an opportunity to get out. Today was my window...high 30's and melting snow cover. The ground was frozen solid in spots, but less so off trail and in the woods. Slopes with a Southern exposure had significantly less snow.

My first decent signal was a " 92" on my Deus 2. Out popped a very worn 1917-S Merc. A little while later I hit a solid "92-93" VDI. I was thinking another silver dime, and was surprised to find a 1899 Barber quarter in the hole. Looks to have some old fire damage, so maybe that accounts for the lower number.

I was able to round out the day with 2 Liberty nickels (1897, 1911), a Buffalo Nickel ( 1929), and a wheatie (1917)

Remember...just because there is snow on the ground in your neighborhood, doesn't mean you have to be stuck inside watching detecting videos on YouTube. Get out there and find some treasure! Cheers!

Nice going on the recoveries.
I have snow, but it's frozen solid now even in the forest.
