Went back to the site from last sunday for 3 hrs and found where the roman villa once stood. Gridding payed off and i walked home with some nice coins and relics. With the limited time i had i need at least 2 more afternoons to grid the main area complete. A buddy helped for two hrs and walked home with one of the nicest roman coins i ever saw dug. I had one really nice too+some others worth cleaning. Other finds were lead, musket balls, gilded strap end, medieval thimble, decorated roman furniture nail and a roman hair pin. Silver of the day is a 1744 1Stuber minted in Cologne.
