Best find for me so far... Is really dinged on the edges but really good.shape... Found in volleyball sand Pitt same park as yesterday!!

Thats one HELLVA Find!....And I know this is a 1oz Silver Eagle....But Im pretty sure it says "Silver One Dollar" on the back....its not a peace or Morgan..but just as good.

It's definitely a silver dollar. (also referred to as the silver eagle) Unlike the silver dollars of the past which were 90% silver these are .999 silver. You just don't see them out and about too often. Maybe somebody had it in their pocket as a good luck charm. Great find

Yep. But it would have to fall for quite a bit longer to make a full ounce of pure silver to only be worth a dollar. LOL

It is a "One Ounce American Eagle, Silver Dollar" It has a face value of (One Dollar)... You can spend it anywhere in America for $1. Of coarse that would be dumb, but my point is simple...

Great find !!

Its almost better than an old common silver dollar. Since its made out of .999 fine silver and is one full ounce. It has a higher melt value than say a Morgan or Peace Dollar...
