I take for granted you mean U.S.
so I chose 1

For the 1877 Trade Dollar I found in 1999

In 2000 I found this Silver Coin, which is the Same
size as a U.S. Silver Dollar

I'd love to see a photo of the Trade Dollar, Jeff! Did it have "chop" marks on it?

Sorry I forgot your request till now.

This is the only pics I have of it, so sorry
for condition.

Yes I scratched her Left Boob. Our Right looking at her.

and

Yes it was found in a Cemetery during a Restoration Project
for the Catholic Church.
Yes it was found on a civil war Vetrans Grave at over 10" depth.
it was actually found on the Comittee Chairmen's Relatives Grave.

He bought it from me, Posted it on this site
with the other Reliics, & I got a scan.

Unfortunately for some reason they eventually Pulled the Relics.
or maby it's because the site is no longer kept up.

I found 2 Peace dollars both dated back in the 1930's. Found then at an old ball field that is now the location of a comercial building and paved parking lot. I don't remember the exact dates. They are both in my safe.

I've found 2 in my 13 years of detecting. Both Morgans: 1900 plain and the 1881-S.

What really blew me away was both were found at the same location 10 years apart and about 100 yards from each other. I found them both near this old hotel that stood on top of the mountain that stood from 1896 to around 1905 when it burned down. Here are coins and the old hotel.............Rich

I've been really fortunate in finding silver dollars. In my 29 years of metal detecting, I've found 8 Morgans and 7 Peace Dollars. Some interesting places: One Morgan was found in a park across the street from the site of the old Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia. It was in the same hole as a Barber Half. One of the Peace Dollars was found in a tiny ball field/yard at a middle school in Bala Cynwyd, PA. It was about an inch deep underneath second base on the field. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of US Silver Dollars handy at this time.

You didn't mention Canadian Silver Dollars. This is gonna blow your mind, but I've found almost a thousand of them, 988 to be exact. I do have some pictures I saved of them.

Here's some pictures:

No chop marks on mine. Not dug, but pretty none the less.

Ive never found any thing more than a quarter, many of them, but nothing more than a quarter, If I ever find a 50 cent piece or a dollar piece I think I'll marry her. ;D

Dug one 24 Peace about 30 years ago....No detector....found it embedded in a hard packed dirt road.

2 morgans 1879 and 1885 those babies are few and far between, TEX

Would take a silver anyday but was stunned to find an Eisenhower Clad $1 in a park. They were barely in use...more of a novelty.
