Frank,
Scientists are getting pretty clever with lasers and manipulation of high frequency energy. If you have not take a look at what is being done with Terrahertz frequency emitters and detectors. It is not unconceivable to me that someone "ahem" may make a magic wand that both images and analyzes what you dig before ya dig it. Big problem here is that it would cost a bundle and probably be as portable as a modern GPR. Besides the TSA already uses this type of device to peak under peoples garments ;)

Having said that who's to say humans don't already use some form of detection that taps into the higher frequencies of the universe around us? Well Tom does not ;) but its a bit of circular logic that is used to explain things such as discussed~ dowsing and remote viewing. Always take a truth with a grain of salt....

I most certainly do ! My tennis shoe smeared with peanut-butter treasure finder device "taps into the higher frequencies of the universe around us". How ELSE did you think it worked ? Just keep an open mind D-dancer. Afterall, scientiests once thought the earth was flat too. Therefore no one can come 'diss my shoe treasure finder device.

If it didn't work for you, it simply means you need more practice, and haven't tapped into the "frequencies of the universe around you" yet. Gotta work harder. It's never that my device isn't utterly legitimate.

Tom, I agree with you a lot of times, but on this tennis shoe, I don't think that is peanut-butter. lol

math a magician ?

really just want to know .......... if Gold has hovered near historic highs after hitting a record $1,266.50 an ounce in June, but the stolen (74 oz) bar's has a $550,000 valuation reflects historic value far beyond its melt-down worth.

Would taking the bullion to a expert for valuation be too risky?

Gimmie a break. Record 1.2K??? Even then how does that value multiply out to 550K$ ???

Is everyone so focused on the other ludicrous aspects to not notice the obvious problems?

What did I miss here ???

Yes... Take a lesson from others (like the recent California folks). It's NOT rocket science just say nothing and show nothing. Maybe (to late now) talk hypothetically or in 3rd person to get opinions if a gold cache is found and you have concerns.

Oh I'm keeping an open mind Tom. Even putting together a materials list to see which shoes, brands of peanut butter and types of birdseed might make a good base line for a proper study on your device. I'm even thinking on using some volunteer's from the local hospice for the blind to test the hypothetical effectiveness of the device. Maybe Frank can help me with some coils and antenna's to increase the effectiveness of the device.... oh the possibilities are amazing!

*sighs from laughing* Now for my second cup of coffee....*looks at ConceptNeterland and Limitool* Yep a little late to the discussion.

I tried the peanut butter shoe, but before it hit the ground it drew itself into my dog's mouth, and pulled her off into the woods.

I assume she will find the treasure, and bring it back....... she is a retriever.

Should I contact a buyer now, or wait till she comes back?

The only coil that would work with that is the rattler coil. lol Frank...-

What did you call who?

Sorry ConceptualizedNetherland, for some reason your avatar hooked up with the last part of your handle. I was not intending on an insult. I was only on my first cup of coffee. *edited post*

Threats by animals. Noted. I don't know if you want the dog to bring back the treasure. Might not be in its mouth.???
But then again there is something to be said about the phrase "sh*t'n little gold bricks". That could be a form of recovery... hrm...

Maybe he has already found the gold and is seeking advice of the disposal of it, if it were me who found it I certainly wouldn't blab about finding it on the internet.
