Shipwreck project, moving a 200 ft Landing craft off the beach

John, this one was bashed around and scratched up but funnily enough the only one that will be able to fish as soon as we got it in (2 hrs ago)

Off to the pub now the last one is in, hopefully all the boat owners will buy the salvage guys a pint or two......

The Rotary club paid for all of the boats to be moved, great guys....it wasn't pro bono but close...ha ha

Good job by the Rotary Club and the whole lot of you.
Kevin - what percentage of the boats in the area survived the hurricane intact? That was a helluva blow.

One boat out of about a dozen clung on by one very chaffed line, ( 3 of its anchors and mooring had already parted)

All of the others were either blown ashore or destroyed on the beach or rocks.

Was just today given a set of GPS numbers to check out as a direct result of organizing with the Rotary guys to put the fishing fleet back in the water.....
