I've been back from the Outer Banks, NC for about a week but just getting around to posting. I'll post my finds pictures first then some other interesting finds.

I only got out for one low tide and I was testing a Garrett SeaMark II water detector. Since I'm not very familiar with this detector there was a big learning curve so not too many finds.

First a very small silver ring and a gold plated silver earring found on the beach. I've included a 1906 Indian Head and part of what I think was a handle to a silver utensil found in a NJ park.

In front of the house we stay at is a shipwreck I thought you may enjoy seeing pictures. It is not usually this exposed but the day after these pictures there was even more showing.

Last but not least is the largest shark I've seen in the wild. This big boy washed up on the beach a few week prior to us arriving in NC. It is a Basking shark and I parked the bike behind it to give you a feel for the size.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the recent warm weather for everyone on the east coast.

Happy hunting.

Why does the ring have cuts in it? Nice haul. Shark is bonus.

The ring reads 'READE' - I'm assuming a name. It is a very cheap and thin ring and the letters cut into the ring are somewhat crude. At the top of each letter it cuts through the ring so it looks like lines.
