Hi everyone!

I am new to the forum. I just joined today! I am posting because I found something weird in a rock I need help identifying. I broke open a rock I found in my backyard, and I found all these really shiny silver like flakes inside it. I dont know what they are! Can someone help me Identify it? I found them in Nampa, ID.

Thanks!

Hi there!
I just looked up an image for comparison, and it was a match. I think you are right, it might be mica.

Thanks!

Welcome to Tnet!

Better pics in natural light with a dark background will help on ID.

Nice find.
