Shell embossed into rock?

We had 1-7/10” of rain overnight. I had to see what got washed up. I found this one on the edge of a field today. Very heavy clay soil. I realize some of what I call fossils are actually imprints of the original items left in sedimentary rock. Both sides have images. It’s all I found during a long, hot day.

I just noticed, from a Pareidolia aspect, it looks like a native American chief (facing left) wearing a war bonnet. 😊

Nice fossil, with a nice bonus Indian Chief. It even has a brow ridge, a nose, a mouth, and a chin. Are you sure this isn't very ancient portable rock art?

Pretty close! That rock was a few million years ahead of its time!
