It wouldn't be north vs south, it is much more likely to be gorilla warfare and it would not be confined to one general area. It is not something this country wants to go through, all would be affected, not just those who chose to defend their rights. Stock market would crash most likely, and there would be attacks on the infrastructure..

.It is not something I want to see happen, but the possibility is certainly there if they continue to try to destroy the 2nd amendment, I know you don't see it that way, but there are millions and millions of us that do see it that way. For me personally I see it as a direct threat to my rights and freedoms and my kids and grandkids rights and freedoms guaranteed in Bill of Rights and the debating in the world will never change that view....

Dude you really need to sign up for the "I don't think the government will be killing us all" club. How can you be happy at all sitting around worrying about this kind of crazy stuff every day? Go and enjoy life.

I have no problem enjoying life at all, I have prepared for the worst with food, medicine, and ammo. I think there are a lot of people with their heads buried in the sand though.

Some people wait till the hurricane hits then worry about what to do... I prepare before it hits...

You certainly have the full right to do whatever you see fit. I fully admit I wasn't a fallout shelter guy or some getting ready for 12/21/12. I look not only at possibility (I believe that anything is possible), I tend to look a lot more at probability. I don't wear a helmet on the golf course fearing a ball will hit me (though I've seen it happen). I actually believe an attack by the UN, US government or any new world order type organization is even less likely to happen than a golf ball killing me on the golf course. Therefore I choose not to prep for it. I believe the decision is based on logic and not a willful head in stand.

But I will not call what you do illogical, stupid or head in something else as I think everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

As a general observation, I always find it interesting those who claim that "other people" have their head in the sand, just don't get it, are asleep, sheep, etc. I often wonder why those people don't believe that they are in fact the ones with the head in the sand or just not getting it? It is human nature to want to believe that we are in possession of secret knowledge or wisdom. It's also a common human nature defense mechanism to say such things when others question our beliefs and we really don't have a good response. Just my 2 cents.
