I love watching others digging videos but filming as I'm digging ain't really my thing so a video from me is rare. Today was an exception. A twenty minute dig scored a copper and a Merc.

I have dug a couple old coins including a Liberty cap and a 1797 draped bust not 5' from this location so I decided when I got a 12-41 at 8" that I'd film. I'm not sure how I missed the signal before. Well, here goes -

Well it's a KG3, 1777. Thought I may get lucky with a state copper but alas no luck. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1455063574.564561.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1455063590.505958.jpg

Enjoy
Steve

Thanks man. For me I just don't have the patience to shoot videos. Bust want to DIG when I get a killer signal! Lol
Great to be digging In feb !
And great save on f2f he old copper ! Hh gl steve

Thanks Charlie. Good luck today and I hope we get a chance to do a hunt when you get up here late February.

Nice live dig, you have some great sites Steve, congrats!

Killer Scrappy! Very well done sir. You never cease to amaze.

Best of luck to you brother!

CONGRATS on the Big Copper
I can't do videos, the fans would be overwhelming
and I just don't have time for to be giving out autographs.

Great post I love videos but I don't have patience to do videos. Plus my finds are few and far between for silver or old coins. Great Job
That's kind of the thing about it. A lot of crap is dug between nice finds. This one had a very high chance of being good which is the only reason I recorded it.
Not a camera man myself.Nice find man, great shape too!Aren't you guys supposed to be under snow up that way:laughing7:
It's been crazy - first 30" and then 40-60 degree weather. The Snow melted in 9 days by me
Very cool.... Thanks for the quickie!
Yeah no problem man. There have been a lot of targets I knew were good before digging that I was just to impatient to film - maybe I should try more? Lol
Nice KG scrappy. I Enjoyed the live dig!

Thanks bud

That's quite a find!
Since there wasn't any half pennies produced in 1777; could be its a '71?

Doesn't look like a Machins.....are you sure of the date?? Need closeups as your fingers are hiding the rim.

Never will get sick of those! But probably 1775 with a distorted 5.

You guys were on that one! 1777 does not exist! Lol. I realized as soon as I posted and said "with all the KG3's I see posted and find I've never seen a 1777" but it was too late. My vote is a "5" but this photo won't be much help ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1455118899.114019.jpg

Nice Steve! Can't believe you're still digging up there, but looks like you're gonna have to take a break this weekend.

Very rare. I'm trying to remember if it's my first. Can't remember
Nice, Steve.
Thanks for watching
Well done Steve. It is difficult to make a clip, it seams like a waste of time when you are out there but when u get back you regret it. [emoji106]

Thanks and you're right; I've watched it 5x at work. It's actually nice reliving the moment.

Great video and awesome coin. And I knew you would come out of your winter retirement to hunt since the warm spell came by.
I couldn't resist. I hunted a few days ago with a friend and he found Spanish silver while I only found flat buttons. I needed a quickie and a older find;)
Nice live dig, you have some great sites Steve, congrats!
Thanks Brad. Actually this is a site I've hit hard. Didn't think there were any remaining signals really. Anyway I heard you were the guy with the killer sites!!
Killer Scrappy! Very well done sir. You never cease to amaze.

Best of luck to you brother!
Colonial Parking Lot, about 5' from that 1797;) you know where.... Lol
Nice job Steve. Enjoyed your video.

Thanks TZ. I may do another in about 2 years lol

Congrats on the find, and getting it on vid. I haven't tried doing that yet, especially since 80 % would just be junk. Nice find. Fun to see. HH!
