Scout camp, in the woods, turned County Park

First time there, about 40 acres, big woods, still remnents of some buildings, great spot. Only hunted a couple hours, to check it out, found a few odds and ends. The small shell is 410, the large complete one is a Sears 12 Ga. lol When was the last time Sears made their own shells?

I don't think Sears ever actually made any ammo. They would contract with someone to make it and put Sears's name on the box. In the 50s and 60s it was Federal who made their shotgun ammo. Winchester got the contract to make guns for Sears in 1964, a few years later they got the shotgun ammo contract as well. I believe it was in the late 70s or early 80s that Sears discontinued selling both guns and ammo.
