We went to New Mexico to have Christmas with daughter number 2 and her family. We flew so no metal detector, but I did go for my morning walk everyday and I did do some of my walking in parking lots looking for whatever had been lost. Most people out here seem to be using electronic and card payments for everything so not a lot to find but I did have some luck.
I found a small batch of change, 4 quarters, 2 nickels, 1 dime and 19 pennies for a whopping $1.39. The best find was a gift card from a small local bakery that has $10 on it so some bread to buy bread with 😂. Not a great week, but you don’t know if you don’t look and you won’t find anything if you don’t try.
My daughter is always looking for something special for her old trash digging father. She does enjoy some of the jewelry I find. She likes snake jewelry so along with her other presents I gifted 2 snake rings I have found to her on this trip. She gave me a tee shirt that is rather appropriate. It would be better if it said detecting instead of detectors, but it still makes the point. Metal detecting can be addictive and I am definitely an addict.
We fly home tomorrow so I should be out swingin again soon. According to the weather channel a hard freeze may be on the way at home so hopefully I will have some luck before it hits. Thanks for looking, stay safe, good luck and may your coil lead you to good things.
