I just got a new metals detector and I'm looking for others who know some tips and tricks on using a detector correctly. Also maybe join up with fellow prospectors for a weekend trip to San Gabriel east fork area. I'm wiling to split gas and shovel time too.
My new detector is a Minelab X-Terra 705 Dual Pack. It's a nice machine and I can't wait to swing it in the next couple of days.
