This is my first post on this forum. So forgive me if I screw something up. The Salt River is a popular place to go tubing during the warm summer months. Thousands of tubers hit the river on the weekends and they end up dumping coolers and loosing all sorts of goodies. About November, the Stewert dam is closed and the river dries up until Feburary when they release the water again. So, for about 3 months during the winter this is where I like to hunt. There are some wild stallions that come to the water to drink, so I have posted some of the pics of them also. The best finds are the rings. The fifth from the left is a mans ring that weighs 96 ct. and has 16 diamonds. That was a nice find that paid for both of the Lobo detectors. I didn't include all the pull tabs that we dug. Another nice thing about digging here is you don't have to fill in the holes. Around the end of February the water is turned on and the cycle is repeated.
