thanks for viewings and responses. It is pleasant to me that my messages and pictures are interesting to you.

As well as promised, I spread the photo of Russian fighting axe which to me was presented by the friend. I will clear it soon. I decided not to restore its original form, and I will simply make deep cleaning and I will restore the handle. Then I will make a panel on which the axe will be fixed.

Today after work went with friends on the old count estate.
Coins of the imperial period didn't find. But there were many coins of the Soviet period 1930-1980.
Funny, the first 6 coins were found in one place.
Found a badge "Young naturalist" 1950-60. Copper wedding ring, children's toy knife, penknife, sleeves.

Today I will show finds for the last 2 hunting (on November 17 and 18)

On November 17 went with parents on picnic and took the detector. A search couple of hours in the open air yielded result: silver money (we call them "cheshuyka" the size of coins of 1 centimeter) and a copper ornament with enamel, for a horse harness, the 18th century. Diameter of 2.5 centimeter.

On November 18 with friends traveled for 250 km from the city. 2.5 hour by the car went to the place of hunting and 3 hours came back, when darkened. As places of search were far from the road, we went on foot about 12 km. Visited 4 places of the former settlements. All travel and hunting was from 5th morning to the 11th evening.

Great finds, interesting history and beautiful silver too. Nuggy

Yesterday cleaned the find. Before cleaning on a coin there was a dirt, oxides, concrete or cement. Probably it was the "base" coin. Earlier in old times, in Russia there was a tradition to put a coin in the base of the new house.
5-коп-1785-241112-uncl.jpg
Coin of 5 kopeks 1785.
Material: copper
Face: Catherine the Great monogram. Empresses of Russia.
Back: a two-headed eagle - a power symbol

It is the coin photo after cleaning.

Thanks for watching & sorry for my english :)

First Russian coins. 1450-1600 . Kopeks and Dengas. Because of similarity to their scales also call "scales". Material: silver and copper. Silver find more often but as my MD badly sees silver and confuses it to aluminum, copper the scales at me are a lot of :)
the photo is made by the light of a lamp. Excuse for quality. I will show a photo in high quality later.

I'm always so amazed by the finds from Europe and Asia. Compared to the finds from my area, a vintage Mcdonalds happy meal toy counts as ancient antiquities.

Very excellent finds there buddy, keep it up and keep posting:icon_thumright: :occasion14: Давайте выпьем за успех нашего дела!

Thanks!!! :occasion14: we will have many different and interesting finds.
