This might be the origin of the old country expression "Were you raised in a barn?" (Usually spoken as "Close that door! Were you raised in a barn?"
 

That would be a great area to search, assuming it's not under a shopping center today.

PS: When I lived on an farm in the '50s our barn had no windows--but schools , churches and 'town halls' did. --though I doubt it's a church.

Round Top is a semi Small town .Round Top is a town in Fayette County, Texas, United States. The population was 87 at the 2020

Why would they put windows in a upstairs where no room was. Or cold that be a upstairs room ?
