I am on vacation in the Palm Beach area. The beaches are really sanded in near my resort. A fellow came up to me and asked if I would help him find his ring he lost earlier in the day. He said he "thought" he knew where he had dropped it.......hmmm.

I turned out he knew within 10 feet or so and a ring was found and returned. Nice platinum bank. He offered a 50 reward and I just said a few pictures is all the reward I need. He asked if I was sure and I reassured him that the smile was good enough for me. He did mention that he did not have to tell his wife he lost it now

.

Now this was in front of Riviera Park which has "No Metal Dectecting" posted on their sign. I was between the tides though.

My reward may be karma because I went to another beach and found a 7 foot cut in the sand. Spend about 2 hours in a hundred foot stretch and lots of quarters a couple sinkers and maybe tomorrow a ring to keep!

Nice work . Go get your keeper ring tomorrow.

Congrats on making his day and yes, karma will reward you!

Good things are sure to come your way now! HH go get em.

Awesome job :occasion14: you saved his vacation, I would hate to spend time in a hotel room with an upset wife.

I tried to straighten out the picture to no avail. I even edited it with rotating to upside down and it still loads upside down. Maybe my phone was roatated when I took it?

I don't care. Great story and may you find and be able to keep many more rings.

That was awesome what you did for that guy. I bet you are proud and happy but just think about the guy that has his ring back. He was probably still smiling the next day.

He is very happy I promise!

a Sherlock Holmes "who dunnit mystery" solved, is part of the fun of the hobby. Posse commissioned hunts are fun when you can pull one off with success. And always nice to help out someone in need. Congrats on the success !
