Swung for a few hours in a spot that caught my eye when digging milk bottles earlier this year and was nicely rewarded. The 1812 button sounded just like a shotgun shell and really surprised me...the cuff button is civil war navy I believe but I need to lemon juice her proper and I will post updated pics of both button (both have considerable gold gilt left just need to restore). Pennies are 1893 and 1929. Nice mix of late colonial, civil war, and depression relics...will definitely be back to hammer the creek when warmer. Have a great day everyone .
UPDATE: 'navy cuff button' is actually a Rhode Island militia button (thank you Fredneck on ID there)
