Ok I'll bite on this one. You're right, you don't need a metal detector to find treasure because not all treasures are metallic. Me and my lady recently found $2000+ worth of high grade cannabis just laying around in an industrial waste area near our house, it was literally strewn across about a 300 yard radius. We've gone back to the area twice now and have found even more. I won't say where this is or the details but it's probably going to be a seasonal source for it each year. I have a pinpointer, it has found me some surprising things of historical value but in general it's not the main search tool, our eyes and Google Earth have found us plenty, trust me.
