Went out for a short hunt thought I came back with a whole lot of nothing. When I cleaned up a crusty Shotshell base, turns out I got a rare one. I know not interesting to lots of people but it’s fun to me to try to find unusual ones. Always happy to find a base until it turns out to be another Winchester repeater 12 gage…
So I was wondering if anyone knew more about Umc star lines, were they black powder? I found the date range 1884-1890 and looks like a plain variety but that’s about it…. Also sometimes I can find a picture of the box shot gun shells came in but i couldn’t find a Umc star box, any chance anyone has a picture of one?
