Folks,

I'll scrounge around and try to find a few pictures of some of my detecting finds.

Here's an old toy cannon circa 1920/1940's era found in an old school yard. The cannons were actually meant to be filled with powder and fired back in the day.

Heck if kids today showed up at school with one of those they'd call the bomb squad...:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Natural Bridge . . . liked the bent trees in the background and possibly an elephant carving under the man at the edge of the stream.

Folks,

Another gold coin for you this one of Hadrian. He's the Roman Emperor who built the wall in England to keep the crazy celts out.
One of the few peoples they were terrified of and rightfully so....lol.

Folks,
Another find from the old school yard. A motorcycle rider and it's cast in lead which was common back in the day.

Yes, that IS impressive!! I didn't realize they had color film back then. :laughing9:

Sometimes it'd be nice to have a wall like that around our place. ....Nah, neighbors cows would still likely find a way over, through or under it! :BangHead:

Is a video rather than a pic, but found this rather interesting. Goes to show that you really can have a cheap knife with a super-sharp edge. ...Only problem is, it still cost a lot for the sharpener!! :dontknow:

...Speaking of knives (gee, who brought THAT up?!?), here's some pics that I hope you'll enjoy:
