A very, very brave and selfless man. I keep this one on my PC's and Photobucket to remind me the right thing sometimes isn't the smart thing; you just do it. A deck crewman (L.C.O.?) standing on the belly fuel tank to get the pilot out of a Hellcat. U.S.S. Enterprise in WWII.

That train was the epitome of what modern was going to look like.

AARC has been posting pictures of pretty gals. Well, I got a pretty gal picture also. This is my granddaughter helping grandpa find good stuff, and everybody knows good stuff is
important. Here she's using the Whites 6000 DI.

That is one scary pooch. He is waiting for someones ankle to bite.

Okay yah he is cute for now.........8-)

Don't squeeze him so hard!

It's a 6000. Truth is, I don't know the difference. The 6000 is an excellent analog machine, I'd still be using it except it didn't have a cuff, and at my age I wear out and get tired easily, and that cuff is
important.

That dog has a look in its eye that says, "careful, I bite."

th.webp all good things must come to an end :dontknow:

AARC, you have unleashed a monster. Here we go with a bunch of pretty girl camping pictures. These pictures have been taken at various Primitive Rendezvous out here
in the west, and a couple were when we were camped near Atlantic City in Wyoming. We'll start with those.

Got the coffee brewing and the bacon cooking.

Granddaughter Rebecca is cooking fry bread, which is more like a donut without a hole. We used those canned biscuits, stretch them out thin and fry them in deep fat.

Now she's getting ready to eat the goodies she cooked.

Ahhh, first cup in the morning.

This is a Rendezvous camp on the Flat Head River taken probably in the 80's.

Another scene of the same camp.

What good is a creek if you can't throw rocks into it. This is Rebecca throwing rocks into Black's Fork of the Green River in Wyoming.

This is the camp on Larrison Creek cove on Hill Creek reservoir in SW Oregon. My teepee is the last one, far left with a red top.
