How deep is it?? What's the story on the diver that just died??

Just found this thread, Blue hole 430 ft deep great place, I looked after an island in Belize ( military R&R center) in the 80's

Well worth visiting Belize, sorry to hear a diver perished there....

Sad thing for me though is that Cousteau blew the holes ( gaps) into the reef you see to get his big boat in.....sigh..

I am guessing the wrong blue hole. This one is in Mexico. I am positive Yahoo had the picture of the blue hole you posted up though. That is why my comment.
