That bridge is dangerous even when the waves aren't breaking over it. You have to stop and wait if a truck is coming across.......its very narrow. When I'm fishing I can see the surf breaking over the bridge and rocks from way offshore. I have fished in 20 ft swells over here. It gets crazy big sometimes.

If you look down the road you can see another spot where the waves blast up and through a hole or cave in the cliffs, it's called the blow hole and waves and water will shoot into the hole and blast 50-70 feet high. You can see it for miles out at sea.
