I returned a silver and opal ring yesterday. Lots of tears and drama !! Seems grandma lost it 4 years ago before she passed. I had 4 hits before the ring, all clad. Took a total of 10 minutes to find the ring. I got 3 old bottles and a piece of vaseline glass as my reward, Wooo hooo!!

Being in limbo is more associated with being stuck waiting and not being able to move forward.. Like waiting for a jury to return. That is how I always understood it.
A lack of visitors may be related to a better economy at least as far as the USA is concerned. Less people casting about for means of money.
An old pawn shop owner told me once that pawn shops did better in a good economy as people got their stuff out of hock. In a poor economy they pawned items and never returned.
